As a member of this international health mission (IHM), we thank you for your participation in the doctoral study entitled “Transformational Learning in Health Care Students Through International Service in Developing World Environments."

The purpose of this original work is to measure, describe, and compare the actual and perceived benefits of an international medical missions experience among medical students and other participants. We plan to use this study to develop educational programs and opportunities that are most beneficial for students and participants interested in international medical missions.

Your involvement as the leader of this medical mission includes:

1. Encourage the participants to complete the questionnaire immediately upon their return from the mission.  The questionnaire is located at www.mmhof.org/consent.html. Alternatively, participants may print the questionnaire and mail the completed form to: Lawrence Conway, 3123 Kenwood Blvd., Toledo, OH 43606
   
2. Inform the participants that they will be asked to complete another form six months after their return.
